CARA Leadership Team
The Senior Leadership team made up of Leaving Certificate students is known as the CARA team.
While in Fifth Year, students interested in becoming a Cara apply for a position on the team. The 5th Year students and the Staff then vote on the girls who apply. The top fifteen students are then selected. In the event of a tie/ties the staff vote again on the students involved. Having undertaken a Leadership Training Course, the team is given a variety of responsibilities. A link teacher co-ordinates the activities of the team.

GREEN SCHOOL COMMITTEE 2015 - 2016
The Green School Committee 2015/16 with their mentor Ms. O'Dwyer.
We have a very active green schools committee. The committee has members from every class and meets once a week. We were awarded our first green flag in May 2014 for litter and waste. We helped to reduce the amount of rubbish created in the school and increased recycling. We also monitor the litter around the school grounds and work to keep our school litter free. We are currently working towards our second flag for energy conservation. We monitor the energy used in the school and try to reduce it by turning off lights and computers and by monitoring the temperature of the school building. We hope to receive the second flag this May.
